An Actual Bible Study
Years ago, I was invited to be a part of a bible study with other 20-somethings. I was pretty pumped to dig into the bible with people my age and explore it together. When I arrived, I discovered we were actually going through a best-selling book- not the bible. I enjoyed the book- it was a great “life” book with some Scripture references throughout- but it wasn’t the bible.
“After you read the scripture, ask these five questions and let people answer as they feel led.
- What did you like about what we just read?
- What didn’t you like?
- Was there anything you didn’t understand?
- What did you learn about God?
- Regardless of where your faith is at right now, if you were to apply what we learned about God to something in your life this week, what would that look like?”
